OMG, I'm m1k3 w4LL4c3, LOL!!!
Jonathan 'Fatal1ty' Wendel, smiling like an idiot 1337 gamer, Jonathan "Fatal1ty" Wendel will be making an appearance on 60 Minutes this Sunday, pimping his new mouse, no doubt.

"Look back 50 years from now….There had to be someone at the turn of the century that played baseball. There had to be a Babe Ruth, a Ty Cobb. There has to be a Jonathan "Fatal1ty" Wendel." -- Wendel’s marketing agent, Mark Walden

Wow, I don't know anything about the guy, and maybe the picture just caught him between expressions, but that smug look is just begging for a Four-Knuckled Return to Reality? (My I'm violent today.)

I checked out his 2-K007-4-$K007 mouse. The overall grip looks rather good, I'll give it that, but the rest is a secret blend of fluff and crap. I have not clue what that whole "extra axis of control" BS is about. I have only ever used my fingers and wrist to control a mouse, as I imagine is true for any action gamer and probably the great majority of users. It's not healthy to use the bottom of your wrist as a pivot point, but I can't imagine having any real accuracy by adding full monkey-arm movement.

However, the ultimate mark of lame is this little gem:
Illuminated Fatal1ty "F" Insignia - Let them know you mean business.

Let who know? The people you are playing against from across the continent? Are you going to hold it up to your webcam between kills? Even if they were in the same room, it's going to be hidden "floating" between your extra axis of evil control fingers.

Forget the primitive punching. I'd rather pummel him with a Fatal0ser Cat-o-Nine-Mice.

Regarding the full-arm movement, Fatal1ty claim to fame is that he lowered the sensitivity on his mouse settings when many gamers were raising it and he was using a printer mat for a mousepad. The idea is that you can achieve more precise and rapid macro movement/aiming with your arm and simultaneously perform micro aiming with your wrist and fingers. I can't say that it works for me, as I've yet to actually do it, but he's won quite a few tournaments, for what it's worth.

Ah. Reluctantly, I can see how that would work well with a lot of practice. I only play the rare ame of Redline against my brothers these days, so I think I'll stick to the high-sensitivity wrist twitch for now.

Jon-boy there probably has a fairly strong right shoulder. I should focus my attack on his atrophic left, then. Even his cocky smirk belies his weak side.
